- Lateral cheek
- Mid-cheek
- Anterior cheek
- Lower Cheek
- Indirect Treatment of Tear Trough
Summary
On this day you will learn about how to use dermal fillers to restore or enhance volume to the mid face and cheeks.
The mid-face is one of the first places that starts to loose volume. As a result we get sagging of tissues downwards and inwards resulting in nasolabial folds, marionette lines and jowls.
Hence it is important to treat the cause first which is midface volume loss rather than treating the symptom i.e. nasiolabial folds/marionette lines. Most other courses will teach you to do the opposite.
We think it is important to teach you to approach cases as you would in practice and this is why cheek enhancement is taught first in the Fundamental 5 course.

Historically, we taught both needle and cannula techniques in the lips but found that delegates found it very overwhelming getting to grips with all the needle techniques and then cannula on top of that, compromising both their confidence and results.
Hence, we feel It is important to master all the lip needle techniques which are most commonly used in practice before using cannula in this zone. We recommend our delegates attend our Lips Masterclass once the necessary experience has been gained where we focus on lip cannula techniques.

FAQ's & Testimonials
Frequently Asked Questions
The main reason practitioners fail to achieve success in aesthetics can be attributed to very little hands on experience during their training, leading to a lack of confidence in carrying out procedures on their own patients.
We pledge to you that unlike the majority of other courses we will provide suitable models for you and you will not share these models with other delegates. You will get to treat a minimum of 5 full cases under 1 to 1 supervision from start to finish over the 5 day course, maximising your hands-on experience and hence confidence. You will also get invaluable constructive feedback throughout.
You will take all your models through the whole patient journey from taking optimal photographs, carrying out medical and aesthetic histories, consultation, patient analysis, marking up, injecting, and finally giving post-operative instructions, precisely as you would in practice after you leave our course. Key elements which are missed on other courses, which can often be barriers in getting started no matter how simple!
From experience, not only do our delegates benefit from treating their own models but have found observing other delegates treating theirs to be invaluable! This enables you to solidify the treatment process, assessment and analysis skills and pick up useful hints and tips that comes with observing lots of patients. You will treat and observe up to 70 cases in total throughout the course!
Prior to even going anywhere near a live patient, you will be able to practice preparation of all injectables, and inject life like mannequins to practice injection techniques and positioning. This will then be followed by a demonstration by one of our expert trainers treating a live patient before you get a chance to treat yours.
Yes, both are provided. You’ll practice injection techniques and positioning on mannequins before injection of real live models. Unlike other course providers, we don’t think training on mannequins alone provides adequate experience.
Your training will be with highly experienced and qualified trainers led by Dr Rikin Parekh, who has over 12 years of experience in the Aesthetics Industry. Our trainers remain at the cutting-edge of Facial Aesthetics to ensure all course content covers the latest and most up to date techniques in Facial Aesthetics.
The art of injecting is just one aspect of this course; other aspects include knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology, consenting issues, aftercare and, more importantly, complication management.
Unlike many courses, we comprehensively cover how to avoid, manage and treat complications. You will be taught how to:
- Recognise complications arising from HA fillers & Botulinum Toxin
- Understand the risks of administering Hyaluronidase (Hyalase®)
- Patient management
- Reconstitute, patch test and administer Hyaluronidase in both emergency and non-emergency situations
