Complications & Corrections Masterclass
This masterclass turns you into the practitioner who can fix things. Assessing existing and aged filler work, dissolving properly, handling a vascular occlusion yourself, and correcting real work under supervision - with Dr Parekh.

Complications Line
Why This Masterclass?
Every injector is taught how to treat. Almost nobody is taught how to assess, dissolve and correct - or how to run an emergency scenario to this level. This day builds on your existing knowledge to push your complication management and correction work to the limit.
The scenarios most courses don't cover
Courses everywhere teach fresh treatments on fresh faces. Assessing and correcting existing work - yours or another injector’s - is a different skill, and it is the one that builds reputations.
You run the emergency drill
Practical vascular occlusion drills where every delegate personally recognises, draws up and manages the emergency. You will take charge of the scenario with direct trainer support on hand.
Dissolving Mastery
Hyaluronidase done properly: patch testing, dilutions, protocols, staged dissolving, and when not to dissolve at all - hands-on, protocol by protocol.
The Difficult Conversations
Consenting a patient whose work you are correcting, documentation that protects you, managing expectations, and when to refuse - the medicolegal side nobody covers.
Supervised Correction
The afternoon is practical: assess, dissolve and correct real existing work under Dr Parekh’s supervision.
A Practice-Builder
Patients unhappy with work from elsewhere are one of the largest untapped patient groups in aesthetics. The practitioner who can fix things gets the referrals.
Become the practitioner others refer to
Three hours after a filler appointment, a patient calls: increasing pain, blanching skin. What you do in the next hour defines you as a practitioner. Completing this masterclass means that when that call comes - to you, or to a patient of someone else’s looking for help - you know exactly what to do, and you have done it before.

One intensive day: assess, dissolve, correct
Morning: the skills and the emergency. Afternoon: real correction work under supervision.
Assessment, Dissolving & the Emergency
Assessing existing and aged filler work. Hyaluronidase protocols hands-on. Then vascular occlusion drills - every delegate personally works the emergency from recognition to resolution.
Supervised dissolving and correction work
The difficult conversations: consent, documentation, refusing treatment. Then supervised practical work - assess, dissolve and correct existing filler work with Dr Parekh supervising.

Still have questions?
Can’t find the answer you’re looking for? Our team is here to help.
Who can attend this masterclass?
Any filler-trained registered medical professional, whichever academy you trained with. No Avanti history required – this day exists because the skill gap is industry-wide.
Do I bring a patient?
Ideally, yes – a patient with existing work they would like assessed, refreshed or corrected makes the afternoon practical directly useful to you. If you cannot bring one, tell us at booking and we will arrange suitable cases for the day.
What will I actually do on the day - is it hands-on?
Hands-on throughout. You will personally practise dissolving protocols, personally run the vascular occlusion drill from recognition to resolution, and work on real existing filler in the supervised afternoon session. Nothing on this day is watch-only.
Who teaches it?
Dr Rikin Parekh, our Medical Director, teaches and supervises the full day personally.
Is this included in the Complete Programme?
It is a standalone masterclass rather than a programme component – though Complete Programme delegates and graduates are very welcome, and it is a natural next step after the Advanced Dermal Filler Pathway.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes – a CPD certificate for the day, plus the written rescue protocol pack: emergency protocols, consent templates and documentation frameworks to use in your clinic immediately.
Do you offer support in the event of a complication?
Yes. All delegates receive our 24-hour emergency contact number. If you have an emergency issue such as a patient complication, you will be able to contact an expert for immediate support.
Where is it held?
At our modern and well-equipped training venue in the heart of Central London: The Avanti Aesthetics Academy, 140 New Cavendish Street, London W1W 6YE.
