Who We Train
Training for registered medical professionals.
Avanti Aesthetics Academy trains fully-qualified medical professionals who hold current registration with their respective governing bodies. Our courses are designed exclusively for clinicians with existing patient-facing experience and a foundation in clinical anatomy.
We do not train non-medical practitioners. This is a deliberate clinical decision, not a commercial one, and it underpins the standard of care our delegates deliver to their patients.

Eligibility Requirements
To enrol on any Avanti programme, you must meet the following criteria:
- Current, active registration with your governing body (GMC, GDC, NMC, or GPhC)
- No conditions on your registration that would prevent you from performing injectable treatments
- Eligible to take out professional indemnity insurance covering aesthetic procedures (guidance provided upon enrolment)
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing clinical development in aesthetics
International Delegates
We welcome medical professionals registered outside the United Kingdom. If your governing body maintains a publicly searchable register (equivalent to the GMC, GDC, NMC, or GPhC) we will verify your registration directly and no additional documentation is required.
If your registration cannot be independently verified online, we will require documentary proof of your qualification as one of the accepted professions (doctor, dentist, dental hygienist/therapist, nurse, midwife, or pharmacist). Our delegate success team can guide you through this process.

Why we train medical professionals exclusively
Injectable aesthetics involves placing products within complex neurovascular structures. The consequences of error - including vascular occlusion, tissue necrosis, and vision loss, demand a clinical foundation that cannot be acquired in a short training course alone.
Registered medical professionals bring existing competencies in anatomy, pharmacology, patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and emergency management. These competencies are prerequisites for safe practice.
Our position is aligned with guidance from the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP), Health Education England (HEE), and the ongoing movement toward statutory regulation of non-surgical cosmetic procedures in the UK.
